Founded in 1977, INTRACOM (3.400 employees) is the largest Greek new technologies company with domestic and international activity. It engineers products, provides services and undertakes complex and integrated large-scale technology projects across the four basic economy sectors of: Telecommunications, Government, Banking and Finance, Defence systems. In this framework, company’s activities include: research, development and production of hardware and software products, deployment and integration of advanced solutions and implementation of large-scale "turn-key" projects, consulting, support, management, and outsourcing services, participation in international R & D programs.
INTRACOM participates in PROMISE as an industrial user providing requirements, and designing and implementing a pilot case in order to demonstrate and evaluate the results of the PROMISE Fundamental Research Clusters.
