Q1 PLM Journal Published

The PLMIG announced publication of the latest issue of the PLM Journal, its in-house newsletter.
The PLM Journal is circulated to members quarterly. It builds into a reference book for PLM as new issues are published throughout the year. The first issue of 2009 includes:-

  • What PLM managers discussed as their most pressing issues when they met at the User Forum launch
  • How in-depth collaboration through the User Initiative will lead to a formalised PLM body of knowledge
  • How to use the neutral PLMIG toolset
  • An explanation of new PLM terminology: "Lights On" PLM

It also sets out a new framework for calculating the Commercial Value of PLM that is independent of proprietary bias and that you can use now.
