Product Data ManagementPDM - Product Data Management is the forerunner to PDKM - Product Data Knowledge Management or PROMISE Data Knowledge Management.PDM generally deals with all relevant design and production data as it relates to a specific BOM - Bill of Materials. PDM will track changes to the BOM but falls short of keeping track of individual instances of items manufactured to the same version of the BOM. |
